Kardinal Rose

Here's another rose that's been with me for a long time; it's called the Kardinal Rose. The flowers are not very big compared with Chrysler Imperial or Fragrant Cloud but I like it best when it's in its budding stage. Has a slight tinge of perfume but not very strong and notice the edges of the petals tend to blacken as the temperature warms up so they don't last long on hot days. Best to cut them and bring them indoor to enjoy them.
